Driver Seat Recline

Hi
Here is a thread that is located on this forum - look at post# 18 & post# 2 in the Seats, Memory, Fobs thread (there are also interesting earlier posts on the power seat issues):
Seats, Memory, Fobs
There is a front seat recline motor. It is part of the recline motor/potentiometer/gearbox assembly that is attached to the front seat. The removal and reinstallation information is in the Jaguar Shop Repair manual.
It would entail removing the front seat, removing front seat backrest panel and then removing recline motor assembly from the seat.
Ask for these instructions in this thread, if you think you are going to need them and I will provide the 3 PDF files.

Hi richthom
I started a new thread for the front seat recline motor R&I:
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/j...tor-r-i-58392/
The 3 PDF files are attached to the new thread posting.
It is a good idea whenever a new writeup about a repair solution to have it posted in its own new thread. This way it can be shared and easily found by other forum members.
