Default driver side window

So here is my rant:

I was driving down to university, and I was drivin' with the windows down. I put the windows up and go to class. I come back and all the windows except for the drivers side work. I press the button and i hear the clicking of the motor wanting to work but for some reason the window doesn't budge. I don't know what it could be and was looking for some insight to this problem.

With noise from the motor that probably eliminates electrical problems. Many posts on loose / bent components in the window regulator. Next step is removing the door panel.

Actually, in a search, you (test point) said to unplug the ground on the battery and let it sit for 10 min, touch it to the positive and hook it back up.

It worked like a charm. The engine was pretty angry after the restart, but it righted itself after a minute.

Thanks for the great info!

take a 10 millimeter wrench and disconnect negative battery post in the trunk of the vehicle and wait for 5 minutes---the computer will rest the drivers window after you reconnect the battery and start the car. Good luck. Flightcommander
