Default ECM location on Vanden Plas

I am having trouble finding the ECM on a 2002 Jaguar Vanden Plas. Does anyone know?

The thing behind the glovebox says F5SB-14A624-AA on it, that's all I can see without removing it. Google says it's a Ford ECM. Is this it?

I believe it lives under the toolkit tray, under the hood on the right-hand/passenger side.

+1 Carnival Kid is correct. The module behind the glove box is the body processor module.I attached a diagram. If you are planning on replacing you will need the VCATS number to identify the correct replacement.

If replacement is required you likely need to have the 'IMMOBILIZATION-SETUP" done to be recognized on the CAN bus.

Hi,

the module behind your glove box is the body processor module.
That has indeed a Ford part number.

If you need to replace the ECM you have to check your VCAT label for the exact version. The VCAT label can be found in the trunk left from your spare wheel.
But it is quite uncommon for them to fail completely.

Regards,
Alex

I agree with Eyedooo - it is uncommon for them to fail. What issue are you trying to fix that led you to ask about the ECM?
