Effective & Easy Headliner backing removal
Thought I'd share.
I see people talking about scraping with putty knives and the like, sounds like too much work to me!
This is what I used, got it from Harbor Freight for a couple bucks. Normally used to remove paint which, ironically, it doesn't do very well at....
Also, I got some really nice suede that I'm going to use for the headliner as well as the door pockets, from Jo-Anne fabric.
Normally $20/yd, on sale until August 4th for 50% off!!

Doing my large sunroof panel the other day, I used one of those plastic floor scrubbing brushes. Power brush seems like the way to go for doing the whole headliner though.
May want to do this soon, at least to get some deadener on the tin can sounding roof at the same time while headliner's out.
