RE: Engine burning oil
Yeah I do have a slight burning oil smell.
I was just outside looking at it, and it looks like some goey oil below the cam covers.
The thing is I park it in my garage and normally there isn't any puddles under it.I added a quart of oil today and when i parked it in the garage, there was a spot there.
Is it possible it only leaks when its all the way to full? Could it leak out of the cam chain cover gaskets only when full?

Couldn't tell you...A)mine never had oil on the ground under the car, not even a dropB)I'm not a mechanic myself.
I had a helluva performance increase in the past 24 hours after getting problem fixed though.

Hopefully its just a leaky gasket. They are going to replace it when they do the tensioners. Guess ill cross my fingers!

Cars don't naturally "burn oil" unless there's a leak. I just had a tune-up and my car was leaking oil in to the spark plugs. I had some gaskets replaced.
I had a slight burning oil smell before, but now it's gone.

actualy cars do sometime burn oil, some more then others and also oil grade can make a difference,
best hting to do is have an oil analysis or chang oil brands and see if it make a difference

RE: Engine burning oil
I had a similar deal.....oil was leaking from the bolts on the engine cover, dribbling down onto that flat metal pan (heat shield?) and then burning when it pooled up on the metal (leaving no oil under the car). I switched from synthetic back to dyno oil, and now it leaks and burns much less.
