Hi I'm actually a new member have used this site plenty but just made an account and really need some advice.
I have had my 2000 Jag VDP for 3 years and am getting a Failsafe Engine light I went AutoZone and had codes read today.

P0102
P0121
P0172
P0174
P0175
P0112
I have had failsafe engine mode in the past but it went away for awhile.
Recently I had Restricted Performance light on and car was shaking on idle well from reading here I did the following; Cleaned the Throttle body, Cleaned MAF sensor, New air filter, and new spark plugs.
It ran perfect probably better than i was use to after all that, but know out of no where I get rough idle and engine failsafe mode and can't go over 5 to 10 mph intermittently.
Any help would be much appreciated and I enjoy doing any work myself if possible.

Be sure you have the MAF sensor connectors cleaned and correctly connected (no bent connectors or broken wires); check for air leaks in the air tube from the filter to the throttle body; clean the air bleeder valve on the throttle body; make sure the throttle valve closes and opens cleanly; remove any excess slack in the throttle cable; make sure all connectors to the throttle body are correctly seated with no bent connectors; check for broken vacuum lines to the throttle body;go buy your own OBDII tester and reset the codes; read the short term and long term trims.
If these don't work: bite the bullet and replace your secondary tensioners (I suspect the right bank may be out of time). Would have gone there first except one of the bad cylinders is #5 (first on the left bank).
Someone with more smarts and experience will be along shortly: OBTW, Googling (a verb?) these codes will tell you a lot.
