Engine just dies

Sometimes we'll be slowing for the light at the GA 400, GA 369 intersection (which should be an overpass) and when I accelerate the car will just die. As for my wife, she doesn't even have to be slowing, just driving along and all of a sudden, she has no power. Put it in neutral or, if stopped, park and it fires right back up. Anyone have this?

The '97 - '99 model years were subject to a throttle body recall / ECM reflash depending on VIN. Symptoms were engine shut down while driving and easy restart on the side of the road. Many got new TBs but the recall has now expired. Your solution is probably going to be a rebuilt TB.
