Default Engine oil leaking front timing cover plus upper & lower oil pan gaskets

I had 2 repairs shops look at the engine oil leaks on my 2001 jaguar xj8.
Our 2001 jaguar xj8 now has almost 170,000 miles on it.

Engine is leaking oil from the 1st observed one is the timing cover.
Next one is both upper & lower Engine oil pan gaskets, also the rear main seal is leaking SLIGHTLY??

Two repairs shops - first one is well known Jaguar repair shop with an expert outsanding reputation that I have used before (replaced valve cover gaskets & steering linkage).

Second repair shop was European repair shop that also has great reputation - they mostly repair mercedes benz. They also found the same leaks.

I have an ALL DATA DIY susscription for the Jaguar.
I do not understand what they mean when they say Labor Information Oil Pan Gasket Replace Upper Gasket 12.7 hours.
The parts illustrations do not show the upper pan gasket - unless they mean a special sealent somewhere near the bottom of the engine block??
The Labor Information Oil Pan Gasket Replace Lower Gasket 1,1 hours.
Any advice is appreciated.

The 'STRUCTURAL SUMP' is sealed with a continuous bead of LOCTITE ULTRA GREY 5699 RTV. (see pages 15,16 in the AJ V8 Engine Assy chapter of the Engine Course 168 publication)

My paper publication I had copied/converted is all over the internet. I got it when I worked at the Jaguar dealer and took it to a COPY STORE to get it converted to .pdf.

The gearbox will likely need to be removed a well as the front subframe. The gearbox bolts directly to the engine 'sandwiched' components so it is difficult to separate the layers.

Could the crankcase be pressurizing due to the low pressure vacuum line being plugged?

I have never heard of having to reseal (factory rtv) the upper oil pan gasket before. My daughters 98’ XJR with 263K miles with original engine doesn’t leak from there. I would do the timing cover and valve cover gaskets but plan on at least new chain guides while they’re in there since it’s plastic.
