Engine Size

Im building a locost with a 2.9 aj6 with a plan to upgrade it when
built. I was just wondering if anyone with a 308could
measure their engine at the widest point so I know whether a v would
fit.
Any help greatly appreciated.

jag v-8 is 244 cuinches i think (4.0 liters)and it kicks *** in its normally asp 300hp detuned state. im sure its capable of 420hp with some headers, and ecu tweeking, maybe close to 500-600 with some wild mods
