Every time I start my car I get a series of beeps and a "ER" message on the screen where the temp is displayed. No codes on the OBD side. Everything seems to work fine.
Do I need to take this to a shop that has a special reader or is there a way I can determine the problem by the beeps like a PC? Could this also be why I can't turn of the ASC?
Thanks

Did some digging and figured out how to pull the codes. I'm getting the following.....
12 - Ambient temperature sensor malfunction true, it does not work
23 - Refrigerant pressure switch malfunction AC feels cold so I'm not sure about this one.
46 - Foot vent servo I suspect this is residual error from when my alternator died and I was getting low voltage errors everywhere.
I cleared all the codes and 46 disappeared but 12 and 23 remain. I'll have to investigate. Good news is the beeping and "ER" message stopped coming up.

The ambient temp sensor is located in the dash behind a little grill next to the boot unlock button.
To access you need to pry the grill out, there's a how to in this forum somewhere about cleaning this as it gets covered in dust over time. The aspirator fan and tube also get bunged up so a good clear out might sort the ambient temp sensor out.
