They're OEM. You cannot order directly from them, britishparts supply their parts, and you can buy from them, for anyone here the UK, I understand they ship worldwide. I don't know of US suppliers, maybe one of our sponsors?

I haven't had any experience with Europarts but I did order some parts once and they were packaged "Uro"

URO Parts - European Auto Parts Manufactured by APA Industries

It was only one order (radiator mounts) so I can say anything much....but the mounts looked good and fit perfectly..... and were about 1/8 the price of Jaguar labeled parts.

I live in miami and even with shipping britishparts is still cheaper for us yanks and they deal with OEM

 

I'm using their rotors (fr and rear) and my R1 brembo brakes and have no compalint about the quality.
If Britishparts is cheaper EVEN with the freight and exchange rate, you must not be shopping at the right places in the USA.
Give me a couple of examples of part # so I can tell you what the prices will be in the USA

 

I bought Eurospare front rotors for my Brembo system and they have been working well. Excellent price point.

 

Have no idea who eurospare is, nor to what standards they work it looks pretty vague to me, which is why I personaly wouldn't buy from them, especially when it comes to safety products like brakes/rotors.

These can also be bought from www.stoptech.com (for instance). They are lower priced than the jaguar Brembo versions, and more important it seems like a company that understands performance brakes which has given me more confidence to buy from them.

It would be interesting for those who have purchased aftermarket brake parts to list the country of manufacture.

Because of past problems - I try to buy OE brake parts as much as is practical -- in some instances it was easier years ago to determine the origins of aftermarket parts.

We had too many problems with the aftermarket stuff - it was hit or miss.

 

I agree that that you have to be careful with aftermarket parts...especially with so many outfits playin' it fast and loose with the term "OEM" and third-world manufacturers getting into the game.

As to brakes rotors specifically, though, I can't ever remember getting a bad one, to be honest. Bendix, Lucas, Wagner, Brembo, Beck/Arnley, Lockheed, NAPA store brand, AC Delco, Motorcraft, and on and on.

Many on-line vendors are selling Centric brand rotors which are usually the least expensive offering....and the "least expensive" offering always make me worry a bit. A freind of mine bought four for his Jag and I installed them a year ago. He hasn't reported any problems....so I guess they're OK <shrug>? I'll add, though, that this fellow is an average driver..no street racing, canyon carving or other agressive driving involved.

Centric, it appears, is the parent company for the StopTech brand mentioned above.

A few notes:
1/ I used an exchange rate of 1.6
2/ BP prices include VAT, the only UK company that show both, VAT and without VAT is David Manners
3/Since they are so many after-market brake pads, without knowing the brand and part #, i took the cheapest ones.
4/What I really don't like about BP is that they don't clearly tell you that some parts are not Jaguar but rather after-market

 

Rotors/discs is not a very high tech product.
Yes stoptech is a good company but most of the racers that i know ( I race a Roush Trans Am in SCCA GT1) use Coleman Racing.
On my race car with an Alcon system the rotors from Coleman are 30% of the Alcon price with 99% of the quality.
Eurospare has a very good reputation.

As said I can't find anything on Eurospare, have no idea what company this is nor what they make and how. And to be honest seeing a text like "Made to British specification" doesn't give me me anything. I can't find any info on their products whatsoever, or do you know more details?


Anyhow I just wanted to let people know there is another company that sells rotors at a lower price than Jaguar does, by a company that provides some background and has knowledge of performance brakes and stand hbehind them.

I could also have mentioned Coleman, and I have actually been trying to have them make custom discs for me some time ago, and not with the idea to save cost, but to get a high quality rotor at hopefully not much more costs then the Jaguar ones.

 

Euro spare listing is Eurospare UK. I have bought upper and lower bushings, v-belts, Eurocentric rotors and EBC red Brembo pads from them and they are good as gold.

 

I have also bought parts from Eurospare for both my Jags and have no complaints on the quality and fitment of them,
