Exterior lighting for my XJR
I want to change some of exterior light bulbs in my XJR to get the cool blue white effect.
Here's what I came up with so far:
Headlamps: H7 bulbs for Low and High beams
Driving lights: 9006
Park lamps: 5w5 or 194
Alternatively I thought of using these for my park lamps but in the end don't want anything bright as replacements:
Here're my questions (if some one has done this already I'd really like to see the pics):
1) What are comparable light bulbs for the following - I want to maintain the blue theme throughout:
-license plate light bulbs
-reverse light bulbs (want to go LED for max brightness)
-2 map lights and dome light (interior)
-2 rear reading lights (interior)
-lights under the dash
2) Are the bulbs I've selected the correct application for my Jag? Suggestions are greatly appreciated.

On the LED side, you will find that any of the "white" bulbs will have that bluish tint. This is for the plate and reverse lamps. The increased brightness on the plate makes the rear very visible at night.
Using LED wedge bulbs in the map lights is problematic because the light spread is not as good. It can be improved if you line the bulb cavity with reflective mylar from a bag of chips.
LED wedge bulbs are also good in the high mounted center brake light because they fire faster and give off less heat.
