Default factory jaguar block heater

Does Jaguar make an engine block heater? If so, would anyone know the part number? Thank you very much, Louis

Yes, and you will find it is very expensive.

On the aftermarket, there are only a few cars that have the same thread size and it is hard to determine if the element will fit.

The aftermarket does not list a block heater for the X308 specifically. Not even the supplier of the OEM part. Must have been an exclusive deal. The OEM installation includes a foil sheathed power cable running to the grille terminating in a flat pack connector and a pigtail with a mating flat pack connector and a household plug.

You might look at coolant heaters that install into a radiator or heater hose as an option.

You would need to ensure that the particular coolant heater is compatible with the cooling system layout as it is a bypass layout.

Thanks plums. I kinda had a suspicion it would be pricey. I will look again on JPEC to see if it is listed. I will probably pursue a coolant heater as you advised.

I put one on my XJR. price was not too bad but that was years ago. Now part JLM20724 retail for almost $150.
The kit has the heater and 2 electrical harness
