Failsafe Mode - No Codes

I was driving home today and stopped at a stop sign. My car stumbled briefly and the Red light came on with a failsafe mode message. I pulled over to the side and shut the car off. I quickly re-started and the message was gone and the car was back to normal. When I got home I connected my scanner, but there were no codes.
Any thoughts?

Take a look at this information. http://www.gusglikas.com/AutoRepTB.htm Now you say you did not get a code on this and I found recently that the plug problem does not always set a code. If you are not sure this is the problem pull the TB plug and clean it and see if it reappears.

I went ahead today and replaced the secondary tensioners (125K and never changed the originals). I found that 5 of the 8 spark plugs were caked with oil. The load breather tube needed to be cleaned, and I had a crack in the passenger side breather tube. ![Icon Doh](https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_doh.gif)
New tensioners, valve cover gaskets, spark plug gaskets and plugs all went in today. Car is running like a beast now!!!
