Last night my rad fans quit on me.
Starting getting pretty hot at red lights but cooling off right away (the gauge) when moving. At home, the fluid was full and then noticed the fans do not turn on when hot or even when the A/C is running.
I've noticed previously, the fans would run occasionally after shutting off the car on an exceptionally hot day or when I give the engine a workout and just assumed this was normal. But now they dont spin at all.
Any common electrical failure with these? I'll start looking at the relays and things this weekend but any ideas would really help. thanks!
Just remembered, I changed oil and air filter last weekend, any connectors in those areas I may have bumped?

My car did that but i noticed that the radiator had moved out of position at the bottom and the lower fan could not spin so it tripped the fuses. The interesting thing about this car is that the fans only come on when needed and often it isn't check your fuses to make sure they are good. It is fuse Number 14 and the fuse is a 30 AMP so make sure u have a few just in case there is an issue, like a short.

Thanks for the advice, there was a blown fuse for the top fan. But when I turned on the A/C the fan shook but didnt spin. With power on, I spun it by hand, it was stuck! With very little pressure it broke loose and began spinning normally.
I'll be carrying an extra fuse in the car and just plan on replacing the fan if it happens again. Wow those fan blades have razor sharp edges!!
Thanks again for the help.
