Default first day after trans replacement - restricted perf and other codes

i just had the trans replaced in my 98 VDP w 130k miles. i have codes p0171 , 0171p, 0131, 0131p , and p1000 along with restricted performance. i did some thread research and some point to leaks in the intake piping, and others possibly O2 sensors plugged in the wrong spots. its dark now so i cant check these things, however can sombody please tell me where each O2 sensor needs to be plugged (the speciffic arrangement) so i can have a look in the morning? the mechanic said he cleared all prior stored codes when putting it back together , but he said the pass side upstream o2 sensor was acting up and may need replacing. i drove approx 35 miles with that code up , but nothing else until just recently.

thanks

0171 is lean A bank , 0131 is low signal from A bank upstream O2 sensor
Looks like a vacuum leak on the A bank to me.
Pretty hard to mix up the connections, upstream connector is a 4 wire for a heated sensor, downstream is a 2 wire conn. You'd need a good wire stretcher to mix up the banks.

ok gents, thanks to this forum, i was able to gather enough info to resolve this (looks like that for now anyhow). i took off all the intake tubing and degreased and cleaned it. cleaned out the throttle body , used MAf cleaner to clean out the sensor good. cleaned out the breather hose , plus took the small drive side breather hose off and cleaned the boogers out of the valve cover orifice. changed the oil and added some rislone , changed every vacuum hose i could see and get my hands on with new silicone including the hoses at the emissions solenoids. i wire brushed all the wire connections to the driver side fuse boxes, did a hard reset on the battery. finally filled up the tank with some premium (usually do anyhow) and added seafoam. i went for a nice long ride ad no codes yet. she has 133k on her and it looks like she neded some attention.
