Default Flat spotted rims

2000 XJR Asteroid
I bought it with 116K
So I'm watching a wheel being balanced (sounds bad already, eh?) and I notice... whoa.
That looks like it took a curb.
Same with tire2 and 3 and 4.
Tough to tell how much it affects the ride because I have a bad O2 sensor (different thread) shaking me a bit.

Questions are:
Is there a repair solution to dinged rims or only a replacement solution?
Can anyone provide insight into the online swap your asteroid for chromed version program?
Thanks in advance.
S.

Florida, you can try taking the rims to a rim repair shop and see what they say. They may be able to straighten them, they may not be able to. That is about as good of an answer as I can give you.

I had mine straightened...they weren't very bad...but as you know by now, even a slight out of round will result in a vibe or a wobble. These are VERY sensitive to balance and wheels/tires being absolutely perfect. Cost me $75 a rim....well worth it...made a huge difference and the guy who came to my office in his truck told me he goes to the Jag dealership a couple of times a month...(costs double of course).
