Default Floormats question

As the weather is turning bad, I am in a need of some rubber mats on my floor. I don't want to go generic, and would like to have fitted honeycomb (preferably) mats, to match the color of the carpet (sable). Anyone out there has a solution that I was not able to find on the web?

It did cross my mind. Checked "the usual suspects" (Lowe's, Home Depot, etc.) for a suitable rubber material, and came up empty. Where do you find this stuff here in CA? I'd much rather cut my own, and have more color choices perhaps.

Walmart had good ones a few years back when I bought for my Grand Cherokee. It was color matched and was thick and heavy duty all the sand and water and what not stays in the mat as its thick grooved. Easy to just pull out and dump it. They were like 7 bucks each back then. Probably still have them.

Thanks, I checked Wally's as well. They have some nice heavy duty mats as you described, but they are way too big for cat's narrow floor. And if you cut them, they look tacky.
I guess I'll have to order them on line, they have some, for like 50-60 bucks for the front two (don't need the back, nobody ever sits there).

oh yeah just figured that out as well. THey're too wide for the Jag. I would like some new carpet mats for mine. The front 2 are worn badly. back two are pristine because yup, nobody ever sat back there lol

Jaguar used to sell an all weather set -- but I believe they only came in black. I bet you will find that with the low production most of the aftermarket stuff will not be "exact" fit. The OE mats have the lip on the edge to hold any water. I have two sets that I use in the winter on the cats that go out in the snow.

Default WeatherTech is my choice

I like WeatherTech since they custom fit their floor mats. I have a set in my SUV and love it. They are not cheap but worth the investment if you keep your ride for years.
