As the title states, I need to flush the intercooler system as the previous owner put that copper radiator sealing stuff in it. I need to get this stuff our asap and possibly deal with the leaks if they arise. So to my question. Whats the easiest,least messy, way to flush the intercooler system without cutting or splicing into the cooler lines?

 

Has anyone ever done something like this or should I figure out the easiest way to do it and do a "write-up"?

 

There are multiple writeups and suggestions on flushing, filling, bleeding and so forth of the entire cooling system. But, you have tied everyone's hands with the obvious lack of desire to open the system up.

 

Since many(if not all) of the cooling system flushing procedures, fail to incorporate that the intercooler is part of the cooling system, I was led to believe it was a separate system. A simple reply like "a cooling system flush will take care of the intercooler since it part of the cooling system" would have been sufficient enough. Instead of a "self indulging, I'm wasting everyone's time" comment that was presented by plums. Thanks for your response as it has led me to the conclusion that you are very helpful in making me(and others that search for the same forum title) understand supercharger intercooling water-to-air systems now.
