Did all 99 XJ8's have a keyless system installed as we did not receive a FOB when we purchased the car and wanted buy one if our kitty is equipped for one.
BTW- Thanks Gus. Cleaned the connections on the TB like you showed and all codes gone.... till next time(lol)

 

I believe the answer is, yes, they did. You can buy replacements or spares online, and program them yourself (do search on this site or look in stickies for how to do it) What you CAN'T do is program your own ignition key. Getting a key is an expen$ive proposition from a dealer.
