Angry Folding Mirror Issue 2001 XJR

I have just finished installing a new bulb in the climate control display, when I put it all back together and re connected the battery earth, the electric mirrors seem to have a mind of there own, when I unlock the car the mirror glass folds in and points toward the ground, has anyone else come across this, is so how do I fix it, it starting to become a pain, Thanks

that's a memory function to let you see the curb? - the owners handbook states, "Door Mirror Dipping - Reversing.
To give the driver a clear view of the curb when reversing the passengers door mirror can be dipped without erasing the memory mirror position.
To operate: with the selector switch in either the left or right position and reverse selected, move the mirror adjustment button rearwards and release (one-touch operation).
The mirror will dip by 7 degrees. The mirror will return to it's memorised position when reverse gear is deselected, or the ignition is switched to position '0'.
Moving the adjustment button rearward and forward with reverse gear selected will dip and return the mirror as required.

Try setting your mirrors memory.
