Just trying confirm which parts I need to replace front crankshaft seal for my 2003 XJ8 Base model


XR81139 Damper O-Ring - shows on sites that it doesn't fit my car and cannot find parts available. Is there any alternative part numbers of something readily available at local stores?

AJ83698 - Is there any alternative part numbers for this crank seal? I saw something that states a Thunderbird had this as an OEM part. Could I use a certain year to find one readily available?

 

The part numbers you have are correct for ALL AJ26 and AJ27 engines.(1998-2003 XJ8 sedans)
Even the 4.2 liter V8 engines use the same parts.(X100 2003-2006 and X350 2004>)
The S-Type V8 also uses the same parts.

TIMKEN SL260095 front seal is listed as compatible.
