True that, it makes more sense to replace the shock and handle all of the bushings at the same time. Speaking of all the bushings...I have never taken the upper part of the shock loose. I see all over the place the replacement upper bushings. Do these really require a press to install into the black metal plate? Are these the same bushings as the ones on my jag that are an orangish color and are visible under the hood under the big washers at the top of the shock? Labor rates dont bug me so much since I do as much of the work as I can myself. It is also tough getting the wife out of the car for repairs, lol. Thanks
