Ever wonder why the front wheel bearings seem to be a perennial topic?

Other than the Lincoln MKZ, all of the non-Jaguar vehicles are lighter by somewhere around 1000 lbs with not quite as high cornering abilities.

And the above is the bigger bearing succeeding the 76mm bearing in the earliest models.

Stress a part, or under spec a part ... it fails.

I haven't seen much discussion about people having problems with these bearings(unless I missed it somehow). I would assume my 02 T Bird has the same bearings also. Definitely something to keep an eye on. Thanks,
