Fuel rail connector gasket? I dont know. Fumes are fun...
I'm still nauseous from the fuel odors so this may not make sense. Hopefully the pictures help.
I have a bad fuel leak. Started with several weeks of faint fuel smell, the last two days were bad and then today I backed up to see a pool a gas on my driveway. Little scary. I popped the hood and saw fuel dripping from the fuel rail. Passenger side near firewall where the return hose (?) connects to the rail. It appears to be a bad gasket on the connector. Anyone know if I can replace the gasket? From browsing SNG Barrat and Jag Land Rover classic, I dont see a part number. I assume Jag wants me to buy the entire rail assembly.

I dont think it is the regulaor. See the last photo. I think the regulator is the metal cirlce object at the bottom right. In the parts diagram, the regulator is close to what I highlighted but it doesnt actually connect there from what I can tell.

The round metal part is a PULSE DAMPER for the injectors. (the injectors open and close causing fuel pressure pulses)
The red circled part is the pressure REGULATOR. (it sends fuel back the the tank when the pressure is greater than needed)
The pressure regulator has an 'O'ring that has likely failed and causing the seep/leak.

So, it is a regulator. I see it now. Thanks to each of you for the guidance.
