Fuel Tank Flange Hoses

Fuel Tank Flange Hoses
Hi All,
I’m having a issue with a gas smell entering the cabin only when windows are down and or the sunroof opened, that all started when I changed out the fuel pump. After looking at the easiest cause of the smell I noticed the hose clamps from the evap tank lid area, and also the hose clamps leading to the filler neck are a little bent out of shape so I figured the smell is maybe escaping from those areas.
I would prefer to change the clamps and keep the constant tension clamps and not use the worm clamps but in order to do so i would need to disconnect the hoses. So i am asking if it is safe to disconnect the hoses temporarily to fit new clamps? And by any chance would anyone now the sizes off the top of their head?

The blue plastic is what you need to be very careful with. I’d recommend proceeding with the smoke machine but, if you want to use the worm gear hose clamps, use a stubby 1/4” drive ratchet. Gently snug. Only if you have a split hose would I mess with pulling the hoses off. Maybe it’s the seal underneath the lid as a potential.
