exhaust removal
Your going to want to remove the intermediate muffler in the middle underneath the car. I would call it the cross pipe, both pipes go into one muffler in the middle of the car. Loosen the 4 clamps on that section and your going to have to do some good tugging. Your going to want to remove the two rear connections first and then pull the whole intermediate section off the cats. The cats can be removed from the engine bay with 4 bolts. You may have to remove some heat sheilding to get to the bolts first. You may decide that you can get to the sensors after you remove the intermdiate muffler. It does provide quite a bit of room once it is out of the way. I am going to attach a link to my post about my 99 VDP. If you scroll to the bottom of the posts you will see I have a post with some pictures of the exhaust system. Hope this is helpful.

Hi
Look at post#4 in the "Drivers control module issues no power" thread. There are 15 pages extracted from JTIS Repair Shop Manual CD showing all the location diagrams and fuse/relays tables.
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...86/#post376412
Also it is in the XJ8/XJR FAQ quick links sticky thread. Use the Edit/Find in Internet Explorer to search the FAQ thread using the "driver control module" as the search string.

Not really ...
Pages 4-12 through 4-24
This attached Document was downloaded freely from the Jaguar Website. It is for the 2000 XJ's, but I've yet to find a difference in my 1999 XJR.
It shows the Fuse/Relay Locations, and usages.
If you don't already have it installed, you will need the Free Adobe Reader to open the Document:

My 2001 has under-hood similar fuse boxes, A and B, but different than what you posted in your PDF.
Also, my original owner's manual is wrong too. (french edition, a translation of your PDF, but wrong).
I replaced a 10 amp fuse today, but I have no idea at all what it is for.
Any ideas ?
Thanks,
Takeo.
