Default "Garfield" is gone :(

Well,.....after the long, and painfull deliberation, my beloved VDP was sold today. I hated to see it go, but for two people to own SIX cars was just totally insane. It was a GREAT car, and made me feel good every time I drove it. It will be missed.

Still keeping XJ8 ("Tabby"), and she has the salvage title, so it's not even worth selling it (low value). She is in great condition too, and drives like a dream. Not as pretty, and not PRISTINE like VDP, but I'm still "in the game". Haven't posted here in a while (been traveling a LOT), but I missed this forum, and all the helpfull people on it.

The main reason for selling the VDP, was my lifesyle. Dogs and horses don't mix well with Jaguars. Once the Range Rover came in the family, it was just a matter of time. It went to a young professional family, and I'm sure they will take good care of it (they ABSOLUTELY fell in love with it!).

Sometimes it's just time. Sounds like the car found a great new home.

Cheers,

It can be sad to see a favourite go but keeping SIX cars is almost crossing the fine line from enthusiasm to addiction.

GBNF - Gone But Not Forgotten!

Sorry to here she's gone, but at least as you say, to a good home and to people that will presumably lover her and look after her

I hope Garfield brings as much joy to its new owners as it brought to you
