I've been smelling burning oil from the car the past two weeks and finally had a chance to give it the once over today on a lift. The front end is clean and looks good but the rear end not so much. I replaced the diff seals about two weeks ago and it seems the clean up wasnt done well so I have gear oil all over the mufflers. It wont wipe off - its on there thick and it smells the second the car warms up. Do you guys know of any chemicals that might take gear oil off the exhaust system?
