Default Gotta love a Jag

This year I have replaced the diff output shaft bearings, then the old girl promptly blew up her diff!

Changed the diff, and the old girl was again a nice comfortable cruising machine again.... for a week!

All the electrics threw a wobbly, alright I know it is cheap and easy to do a hard reset, and that is all she needed!

The following day, the batteries in the remote crapped out, again a cheap and easy fix!

Bugger me, went out in her last night, and the last half of the rev counter the first half of the speedo, and the tell tale for lights on have stopped working!

Again not exactly an expensive, difficult repair, but it does seem like the old bucket is being a bit ungrateful of all the time, money and work that has been lavished on her so far this year!

When it rains, it pours!
Even if it's an 03', it's considered an old car. Do you want an old car or do you want a car payment?

When you have the instrument pack out, just replace all the lights while you're in there.

I have some spare bulbs (it was cheaper to buy a multi pack at the time mine went for some reason), PM me your address and I'll send you some (I think its 4 or 6 you need).
As I've always maintained these cars are all females...... Mine seems to play up about once a month..........

Thank you very much kind sir, PM sent.

Agree with you on them being female.... they seduce you with their beauty.... then after a brief honeymoon period start emptying your bank account!!!

Was out the front of the house this afternoon waxing the old girl ( trying to work my way back into her good books ) when a young boy about 5 walked up, Dad Dad look a Jag!

Turns out the little fellow is a complete petrol head, and favourite manufacturer is Jaguar!!!

Its little things like this that make it all worth while.

Just like the old adage,
"If it's got ***** or wheels, it'll always give you trouble!"

I have that written on the top of one of the toolboxes in the garage.
