Default headlight replacement

Hello all another newbie hear and like most my 1st post is asking for help!

i've owned my xjr1998( pico link below)for a few months and i'm loving every min i spend it but already i've had two people reverse into it the last one broke the glass on my drivers side outer headlight, i've managed to get a replacement which i should have in a few days but i've never replaced one of these before and i'm wondering if anyone would mind giving me a few tips? ive read somewhere it's held in place by Three push-fit ball and socket fasteners, i've popped the bonet and had a little look around but i really dont know where to start!any help would be greatly appreciated.

TAKE A LARGE SCREW DRIVER OR SMALL PRY BAR, CAREGULLY BEHIND THE LIGHT POP IT OUT OFF THE POST. EITHER BEFORE OR AFTER ITS LOOSE TAKE OUT THE BULB AND CONNECTOR, I DO IT AFTER, ITS EASIER AND IF I DROP IT THE WIRE WILL KEEP IT FROM HITTING THE GROUND SINCE I TAKE OUT MANY UN BROKEN ONES. TO REINSTALL PUT A LITTLE DAP OF LUBE, (VASALINE WORKS GOOD AND PROBOBLY YOUR WIFE ALREADY HAS SOME IF YOUR MARRIED) ON THE POST, THEN YOU PROBOBLY WOULD WANT TO CAREFULLY PUSH, i SMARTLY HIT TO POP IT BACK ON AFTER YOUVE REINSTALLED THE BULB AND CONNECTOR BEING CAREFULL TO NOT TOUCH THE BULB AND GETSKIN OIL ON IT WHICH CAUSES THE BULB TO PREMATURLY BURNOUT. I WOULD RECOMMEND GETTING A CLEAR BRA KIT TO COVER THE HEADLIGHTS SO YOUR NOT REPLACING THEM FROM ATLEAST ROCK HITS, SORRY THEY DONT HELP WITH DAMAZZES

Does anyone have pictures or a video on how to do this properly? I need to replace the outer headlight and I haven't the foggiest how to go about it. Mine is a 2002 XJ8 Vanden Plas.

Finally got a chance to replace the lights. Had a issue which made the easy job hard but it made the video better.
