Heater woes
Hi all
As it is fast approaching winter, I thought I'd better have a look at my heater (I have a 1999 XJR) as it is getting difficult to see out in the morning.
After a little research, I have tried the following
1. I have checked out the heater pump - I even took it off and ran it from a 12v supply, so i know it works
2. I have flushed the heater matrix, perfectly clear
3. I have checked the diverter valve, again by removal and using a 12v supply, works perfectly.
Does anyone know if there is a fuse for the diverter valve like there is for the pump? as far as I can tell the valve is staying shut when I turn the heating on, I might use my 12v supply to switch the valve manually in the light of day, but it would be good to see the circuit diagram for the system, does anyone have one?
Regards
Steve
