HELP!! 98XJ8 ran out of fuel and will not start
It was a quick start to move her 5 ft so I thought it was a wash, no wash fuel pump is working fine, primed the line, she wanted to start but just couldnt get there so I assumed the filter.
I got the nut facing the rear tire off but the nut facing the lines is stuck!!!!
does anyone have a trick other than a torch to get this darn thing off!!!!
Please advise.

HI Crystal
These V8s are known for quick flooding if you just start the car and then switch of quickly. There is a procedure to follow but I don't have the exact details at hand.
You have to remove a fuse that powers the electronic fuel pump. Cant remember if it was 6 or 13. Then remove all the spark plugs and dry them. Turn the engine over for around 5 - 10 seconds. Replace the spark plugs. Now you require someone to help you here.
Push the accelerator pedal flat and crank the engine over again. When it starts to run get your friend to insert the fuse at the same time.
Hope that helps.
