Default Help needed with flow rates of a 1998 jaguar xjr supercharger fuel injector

Help needed with flow rates of a 1998 jaguar xjr supercharger fuel injector. I am doing a custom m62tu bmw motor build with the top of an xjr motor because the blocks are almost the same! I did all the hard work making everything fit now I just need the flow rates and dead spots for idle tuning. Anyone have a tune file din or have a chart for this car not alot of info on these side feed injectors

The injectors on my 1999 SC engine are Denso 98JV-AD, 360cc/min (34lbs/hr) @ 3bar.

I don't think any more info is available on these injectors. Even to just find their basic flow rate was very hard (I do not remember where I got it).

They are 360cc / 34lb @ 3bar/43.5PSI

Test report of my injectors. Please note the 2.5bar pressure.

Below are flow test results prior to cleaning the injector pintles. Tested at 2.5 Bar, 60 second flow rate. full open (static test).

1) 320 ml
2) 320
3) 317
4) 317
5) 320
6) 316
7) 316
8) 309

Average flow 316.88 ml
Low 309
High 320
Spread 11 (low to high)
Deviation 3.41 %

The deviation should be 3% or less. In your case, the deviation is 3.41 %. Due to injector # 8. All the others look good.

I only ultrasonically cleaned # 8, as the others looked good. After ultrasonic cleaning #8 is at 316 ml.

Now your specs are as follows....

Average flow 317.75 ml
Low 316
High 320
Spread 4
Deviation 1.79 %

They all now look good and ready to refit.
