The car im looking at 2002 xjs vdp with 90k miles cosmetically great mechanically sound has this radio keep coming on and off..
do u guys have any idea how to fix or how much to fix the problem?

Everything else looks good except that audio problem. Hard to negotiate without knowing exact problem or remedy..

Sounds like it was replaced at one time because of that, then put back in to sell it. If you really want to fix it, you'll need to take it to a repair shop probably. Sounds like the rheostat on the on/off may be broken or a bad solder joint?
You definitely want to find out the repair cost because a used one is fairly cheap. Look in the Marketplace, top task bar, under Marketplace (original, right?...lol), there's a couple being parted out from wrecks. If you decide you may want to go 3rd party, then we'll have that conversation when you want make that decision.

Also, please use the User CP,...again top task bar and put in your location. Doesn't have to be exact, but the country at least. NA cars are different than Euro and Aus so that helps us know what you may need.
