A casualty of removing the center console (to fix something else) was the vent vanes in the rear of the center console - they popped out and I can't get them back seated in a way that they move vertically in unison from the tab in the center - right now only the center vane moves vertically, but horizontal adjustment works properly via the tab connecting to the inner vanes. What's the secret to fix the outer vanes??

 

Never mind, fresh eyes this morning discovered the tiny 2mm plastic nub broke off from the middle vane on each side...
