How to fix the leak of this part?
I own 2003 XJ8 and have a leak in my system so the valve cover gasket has to be replaced. However, I see that it's leaking a lot from one specific place as I showed in the photo. Could you please advise what part I have to purchase to fix this?
Thank you in advance.

That is the VVT solenoid. It has an oil seal that can be replaced without removing the Cam Cover. You need to pull out the old seal. I have used a screw drilled into the seal housing and levered it out.
I would recommend before you change the seal, you should check the Part Load Breather Pipe for obstruction. When you remove the part load breather in the fitting is a small orifice that you need to make sure is clear and open. You can use a small drill bit to open it up.
If the breather or orifice is plugged it creates pressure in the crankcase and causes Cam Cover leaks.
