Hi,
I'm a noob around these parts but hi anyway from England![](http://www.hydrocanna.com/images/smilies/58390736.smiley_wave.gif)
I got a spurious "low coolant" on the MID this morning and so had to use the wife's Nissan (yuk!)
Just got back and checked the coolant level and when cold at about 15 dec C outside, it looks like it's full to me (by full I mean the circular float seems to be at top touching the vertical plastic ridges that stop it floating right to the very top of the tank). When measured from the top of the open coolant cap down to where the liquid coolant is, it measures approx 3 and a tiny bit inches.
I also tried the key in the ignition again and this time got no warning message at all.
There's no evidence of stuff in the engine bay or on the floor either.
So, what do you wise chaps reckon? A sticky float or something?
Cheers,
Joe
