Good to check that you can FILL it before removing the drain or pan complete!!
I sometimes need to use a 'cold-chisel' on an edge to get it to break loose and then replace it with a NEW plug.
You can 'walk' the plug out a little on the edge but don't damage the Allen HEX with the chisel.
You can give it a shot of penetrating fluid, and let it sit overnight, it won't hurt your effort.

I finally watched the video and I hate to disagree with the guy but he really should have ensured that the FILL plug came loose BEFORE he drained the fluid.
Worst case would be that the car would need to go to a repair shop and the car will NOT drive because NO FLUID!!!
I also have found that the pan bottom is NOT an accurate place to measure TEMP. (plastic is a pretty good insulator)
It would take a longer time for the heat to 'soak' through the pan and stabilize the temp on the pan bottom.
I have used WDS/IDS and the non-contact IR thermometer at various places. The most accurate was the fluid cooler OUTLET pipe on the side of the gearbox.
The temps (IDS and IR thermometer) were the closest at the aluminum pipe to the cooler. The return line was obviously cooler.

For some reason we couldn't open that bolt i think the only way is to heat it little bit then try to open it again . They really built it sealed for life the bolt doesn't move at all !
Opened it today but we runined the bolt the oil is black and didn't pull the filter yet . I hope the mag 1 low viscosity atf work for the zf5 . The transmission is in bad condition i wouldn't spend more on the zf lg5 hopefully works well and using premium guard filter. Not bad combination for too old transmission. And i would like to see the results
Couldn't open the oil sump the bolts are also stuck and i was done with the filling plug so just drained 3 liters and then added about 4 liter the transmission was on low fluid . After filling it the oil came out thinly then tightened the filling bolt then shift the transmission from p to all the gears . With hope drive it around heard some grinding noise from the torque converter area then disappeared i noticed smother downshifts . There was little water into the fluid barley can see it on the oil surface when drain it .
