Hi,
How can you tell if Hub is bad?

Attached pix of drivers side left rear hub from 01 Vanden Plas.

Any assistance appreciated.

They go bad from leaving a bad bearing go too long. Look at the area that the bearing rides. If any wear from the inner race spinning on the hub its bad. The other isse is a warped hub. You have to really check this on the car with a dial indicator set to run on the cleaned flange just past the studs so they wont hit the dial indicator. Is has to be perfect.000. I dont care what anyone says about hub "tolerances" if you have say .001-.002 on the hub, that equates to about .008-.012 on the rotors outer edge and this is unacceptable
