I replaced my spark plugs and my car runs great. But when i first start my car, it idles rough for about ten seconds, then i will put the car in gear and it feels fine. My spark plugs had a 40gap, the spark plugs said not to gap them due to possible breaking of platinum tip. the original gap is 50. could this be the issue, or any other ideas?

 

Where did you buy your plugs? When i bought platinum plugs from Auto Zone ( recomended by them) for my audi the guy told me not to gap them. Guess what they were off by a lot, they where the wrong kind, and my car ran horrible until i bought the right ones and gapped them properly. Idk what kind of plugs these cars take but my audi was really sensitive to these type of things.
