Personally I think the key's module is trashed for starting the car, it's shouldn't ring like in your video. It can still be used for trunk, glovebox and drivers door though.

The dealer should be able to pull the key code and supply a new key but you'll need to be sat down when they hand you the invoice.
Yes, it does unlock the doors though I have left them unlocked since I'm not taking any chances, last time I was at the dealer for my other jag a s type they didnt have any ford keys so I'm going to call them and order one, in the meantime I have found a spare for my ford truck so I guess that will do for now

Also in the video the door was open

I give Sean a +1 on that rattle...it does sound like the case has been compromised.
