Default i930 carsoft code reader

I'm after any thoughts on this reader ? Looks like it reads and adjusts everything! After it for security module reading and setting anyone got one and used it for this , can you just replace the security module with another from same year and programme it to car with the i930 ?
Thanks Geoff

i have an i930 . its good but it will not program modules .
its only a scanner , it reads codes and gives real time sensor monitoring . and status graphs but not programing .

I have one along with an Autel Maxdiag Elite 802, Maxdiag Elite 702, and VCM/IDS. The i930 sits in the boot and is used only in an emergency if the other scanners aren't present. Personally I have found it as useful as any generic $30 scanner. Cannot "adjust" anything and def cannot program. Slow to diagnose IMO as well. Might not communicate with my early '98 modules as well as other newer models, who knows

I have an i930 Carsoft, and it does read earlier models (mine's a 1998), but as said, it doesn't programme anything, it will only read and clear faults. I read on here that modules can be replaced with ones of the same year, and that after changing doing a hard reset (touching earth lead onto positive on the battery) will reset modules to 'learn mode'? I changed a seat module, did a hard reset and it worked a treat, but not sure about security models?

Does it go into OBDII diagnose? I get a communication error on my 1998 X308. (You can do plain Diagnose though)
