Illuminating Issues-Help me see the light!!

The single switches in the passenger doors use the DBC6244 bulb whereas the driver’s switch pack uses the same bulbs as the centre console, and there are 4 bulbs in there if I recall.
It’s all laid out there on the classic parts site, you can use whatever wattage you like in the drivers switch pack.

KC, as per the info given by Stu, and if memory serves well, the large switchpack on the driver side takes 4 bulbs, all other (passenger and 2x rear) take 1 /each.
I put ~50ma in all, and they all illuminate at the same strength.
The driver side switchback has illumination for the memory buttons and the various window buttons, but NOT for the mirror selector and operation button.
EDIT: By the way, they wanted almost 9 USD for each single bulb here at the Jaguar dealer, totally ridiculous.
So I bought one, went to the local electric store where the guy had plenty of bulbs, each of them in large glass jars like a candy store.
Found some by comparing the light intensity to the original Jaguar one, then got a handful for a dollar ...
I just took the old bulbs from the base, and fitted the new ones in, voila!
And still replacements for the next 100 years ..

I went white LED w/ all the courtesy bulbs(map, overhead, puddle) left the rest OEM. Really liking it thus far.

That said, it does not give a whole lot of light, and I can see why to upgrade (some) to LED.
So how does it feel with whiter, harsher LED lighting?

What I really like about our cars is the warm yellow interior if the interior lights are on (in the dark, obviously), I think it adds something to the 'classical feeling' of it.

On my quest for total luminance I've noticed my trip/odometer buttons are not lit. Any clue as to what bulb & how many I'll need there ?!

They are all the same little turning plastic base / bulb / blue cover type, I think the 50ma (but the most simple to change if they are not lit enough).
One bulb per switch, same for the left side fog light switch, and the left lower trunk release switch.

I like seeing my interior lit up in the soft glow Eric describes, it makes the car feel warm straight away even on cold days.

I guess you guys have light interiors, black on black sucks that quaint little glow from the old bulbs - leds have many advantages and one is output! I can actually see things, not to mention low power consumption no heat to crack and yellow plastics, less fire risk and a duty life of decades.

Ok I have done all passenger door switch packs w/ DBC6244 OEM bulbs & they make my driver side SP looks very dim. Before I get the door taken apart etc. can I run the same DBC6244 bulbs in the driver's switch pack as well ? It makes sense that they would be uniform w/ the bulbs, but we all know how that line of thinking goes w/ these cars lol.
Edit :
Because if I look @ the back it looks like 2 different sets of bulbs white base & blue ?!

Thanks !
Update :
Driver's side switch pack takes two LNA518CA & two DBC6244 bulbs.
Between myself & Hans from https://www.terrysjag.com/ we solved this riddle, which has stumped me for a while now lol !

When I ordered DBC6244 they came with a rectangular rubber base rather than a round quarter turn base as shown in King Charles picture of the back of the driver's door switch pack. There is no way to make the rectangular rubber base bulb work unless you remove the bulb and solder it into the round quarter turn base (not easy to do). With research I found the following part number: LNA5180CA which is a blue quarter turn base with a blue filtered bulb. See Pics below

The top one should work, just depends a bit on the wattage.
Jaguar went to great length to get different wattage at different applications (or they just messed up without any control), but I went a more consist way and it still looks the same.
The lower one I only found used at the 8 switches for the Captains seats, most Jaguars don't have them.

and a Rectangle won't fit in a round hole. DBC6244 is the rectangular looking base in my picture. I know. I ordered it. It is wrong. It won't fit where pictured in your switch pack picture.
