I am currently having the rear anti sway bar taking from Thundercat's XJR and having a metal plate fabricated (to house the rear sway bar) for my 01 VPD SC. I'll have an update coming soon!
Ok the project has been completed. The ride quality is as smooth as glass! The noticeable differences are when you are at a stop light getting ready to make a left turn the VDP SC is noticeably flat through the entire turn. The sensation is like you're anticipating the car to roll to its right but it stays entirely flat. The roll bar makes a dramatic difference! In a straight line the roll bar works in conjunction with the CATS suspension. Not as tight as the XJR in the rear but a very controlled refined ride. The VDP SC bounds over bumps. Take into consideration that the VDP SC has a Touring tuned suspension compared to the XJR's Sport tuned suspension. I strongly recommend it!
Dear Rocklandjag, I am new to the forum and have acquired a rear sway bar and end links. Like VIAPA2, I too would like the dimensions and hole locations of the 3/8 in. plate to have one fabricated. Thanks in advance.

Here are some quick directions to replacing the wishbone mount.
In these pics I am taking one off with the mounts but process is same and this is how it can be done.
Jack up rear end, taking wheels off will give you more room to work. Once up, put jack and something across the rear diff and control arms and raise it up just to release tension on K-bar.
I used a 2x4 for this and did not have any issues with the control arms moving around once fulcram bolt was out.
Here I would remove lower K-bar bolts and lower the diff just enough to free it.
Remove the control arm bolts. 21mm on front side and 19mm on back
Here I used a larger wrench to pry out bolt while backing it with wrench.
Long bolts....
Do the other side, then remove the 21mm bolts holding the wishbone on the back of the diff. Replace with new wishbone with mounting plates. Reassemble.
Sorry to resuscitate an ancient thread, but did anyone ever get hold or share the dimensions of that home made tie bar for the anti roll bar to mount to...
