First off Welcome to the forum.
Why not follow the guidelines and introduce yourself over in the New Member area.
Secondly, I would think that the Vendors in our directory will be able to fix you up.

let me see if I can find a harness I got while I was doing the conversion.hint ,go to ebay UK to find it, those selling the sidemarker ,ask if they also have the harness with it.
I also understand it is the same harness for the car trunk interior light
it is definitively the easiest retro fit I have done on the Jag and it is prettier than the useless emblem and functional

Vincent,
I am interested in doing this retrofit. I had these on previous SAABs and Audis, and they really are required defensive equipment for Southern California freeways.
You say the drivers (left) side is plug and play meaning I assume that the harness is already inside the fender and I would just need to plug in connectors to the side marker. The right side needs the harness run to the relay (which relay and where?). I see that you can get the markers from newer XJ6s. Is this the correct harness to use too?
Any information or assistance here is greatly appreciated.

I forgot to mention to the OP.
If you cannot find a new emblem, send me a PM.
I have an extra set.

I did the conversion on my XJR, IIRC it's the right one that is pre-wired, the plug is actually attached to the back of the leaper emblem.
I had to order the side marker lamps from England, the trunk lites are the same plastic frame, but they lack the metal clips to hold them in place in the fender.
I have two trunk lights for sale, if anyone wants them, PM me for info.

You need either two side markers with metal clips (I got mine shipped from England, since they don't exist over here) or two trunk lights, if you want white markers, you will have to figure out how to mount the trunk lights in the fenders, they fit the opening, but they don't have metal retention clips like the true, amber side markers have.
You will also need one female plug to attach to the side that is not pre-wired. You have to remove the fender liner and run a line from the turn signal on the front bumper to the side marker. The other side is plug and play easy.
