Does anyone have a link that can get me detailed engine specs on the AJ-V8? It would be nice to be able to get details on this engine like I can for ford modular V8s (mustangs, etc)

I am really looking forward to doing a custom "smog legal" turbocharger or supercharger build-up and then writing about it on here.

Is there a service book available that I can buy that has all the nitty-gritty details on this engine (ie, valve sizes, valve spring pressures open/closed, piston dish, connecting rod length, etc).

There is a unit repair manual for AJ26 floating around, you probably already know about it since your name is on the cover! I should think any stock build specs you require are available in the JTIS CD, see Ebay.

There are a couple of user groups similar to this one which have more information biased towards performance modification and development. Do a little searching and you'll find them, if you haven't already. I'll be glad to drop some names if you wish to contact me privately, but I don't think it's appropriate for me to list them here. For what it is, this site is the best of them all. For what you are looking for, it won't be your best available resource. Good hunting.
