What are the rotor sizes for the Super V8? 325? 355? I'm getting conflicting data on websites for buying them

Does anyone know where on ebay was that link to the rear stabilizer/anti-roll bar that someone had manufactured for the VDPs and XJ's?

I know i saw it but can't find it now on ebay.

UPDATE: Found it

Congrats Prince. Is the Super V8 an XJR and a VDP hybrid of sorts? Looks great inside.

Congrats on the new ride! Seems it's the season for Jag hunting, as I just picked up an XJR. Love it so far.

I'm wondering if you're "new" car rides the way it's supposed to -- smooth and soft, just like my XJ8. Or maybe it does need some suspension work, but I think the ride is not supposed to mimic that of the XJR (odd grammar, I know!).

I've just acquired a 2003 S-Type, and the major thing that I miss the most about my XJ8 is the ride (my XJ8 is in the shop, should get it back one of these days!). The S-Type has a much stiffer, sportier, road-hugging ride whereas my XJ8 feels like I'm driving a marshmallow.

I prefer driving a marshmallow!

princemarko, I absolutely love your Super V8!! The long look and roominess is awesome. Glad you found one. If I hadn't got in a hurry when I bought my Jaguar and was better acquainted with the various models, a Super V8 would've been my pick. Glad for you!!

When I swapped the OEM 16" VDP rims to 18" asteroids, the ride and handling improved significantly (in a more sporty way). The 16" rims made the car feel too soft and the steering was vague. I can drive more confidently now. Maybe your VDP S/C will also improve with 18" rims. I have 245/45/18 on mine. I went slightly narrower than the XJR to help with winter traction and went 45 aspect to maintain OEM circumference.

My photo gallery might give you an idea of what the asteroids look like on a LWB XJ. IMO The OEM 'crown' 16" VDP rims were hideous and look very dated.

The two best things you can do would be to grab the wheels and grill from your XJR. Maybe body color side mirror covers as well.

The Super V8 is peppy thats for sure with the supercharged engine... the ride is soft and glides over the pavement... It really rivals modern cars... that said......

I need to tighten the ride up. The Asteroid wheels in chrome and sway bars I found from a company called Ultra Racing will limit the body roll which is god awful coming from an XJR as a daily driver. I just have zero confidence in the turns with the Super V8 and find myself slowing down significantly(which isn't bad i guess).

The looks of the car being the long body is just awesome... sitting at the valet, its quite stunning to see the car's elongated body. The room in the back is great and somehow they made the interior width seem more roomy when I know the car's width is the same as the XJR. I believe it seems as if the Super V8 is higher... I'll have to see how that is after I put Asteroids on it. I'd take the ones off mine, but the issue is I am selling the XJR. If it goes to auction, for sure I'll do it.

Don't take off the Super VDP wheels!! They are one of the few defining exterior features for the Super V8 (and they look beefy and tough, VDP rims on steriods). It is your car though however

The only issue i have with them is the performance and handling... if they were 18x8 I wouldn't dream of touching them. But I personally think the car needs wider wheels to fill out the wheel well better. You'd be shocked to how muscular it looks.
