The M112 consumes more power then a TS, and generates more heat, hence a 1.7 TS will provide much more power.
These 1.7 prices are very very high, but as far as I see the only in between way with less adapter plate work but of course also less power than a full 2.6 kit can bring. Just my used 2.6H unit (so not full kit) itself is somewhere in between of the 2 units on Ebay.
Please remember the 1.7 will make more noise as you need to spin it faster for some good chunk of extra power and to overcome the inefficiency for making it a direct fit for the M112. the rear adapter plate is where the work lies to make it fit in the tight package. When I started I just bought a (hobby) milling machine and started making it with the idea to make it an easy fit. That prototype has moved owner already, and is now in New Zealand actually in a STR where the owner is happy with it. I can remember that the extra SC noise was very intoxicating though, you just wanted to hear the unit scream and feel the power.
The TVS is not a direct fit and thus will require much more work, and will potentially have the same costs for a full kit as with the KB 2.6. Count Iblis is going to make a setup, so he may have some thoughts already on that,
