Keys and Remotes

Can the 2003 S-Type key/remote be used with a 2003 XJ8? In other words, if I bought the 2003 S-Type blank (which includes the remote), can it be programmed to work with the XJ8? I like the S-Type key so much better than mine!

Here's a photo of the key that I want to use with my 2003 XJ8 (308) -- this one is for a 2003 S-type.

Anybody know if they are interchangeable?
